    Even if you are promised a pension…..always put into an IRA or 401…….all so called money managers are in it for the money…do it yourself…..why pay them…..pay yourself…..

    I work for the state and love having a pension. I put far less in for a greater benefit then any 403b could provide. I can also retire much earlier than 59 1/2. 401k and 403b plans can also be a huge tax liability later on when you have that tax deferred nest egg.
