Senate Proposal Aims To Bolster Women’s Retirement Security

Patty Murray, D-Wash., proposed a bill Wednesday that attempts to mitigate some of the challenges women face in saving for retirement by increasing spousal protections in defined contribution plans and improving coverage for long-term, part-time workers, while also providing grants that support women and victims of domestic violence.
